Established in 2013 by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization as means of providing appropriate clothing to Jordanian families registered with the National Aid Fund in all governorates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Charity Clothes Bank is committed to providing basic needs to communities throughout the country. Through its exhibition located in Al Mahatta, the Charity Clothes Bank grants the joy of shopping for families in need at no cost.

One of the most important projects under the umbrella of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, the Charity Clothes Bank partners with over 300 local associations to reach families in need in rural areas and villages. It receives new or gently used clothing collected by various Samaritans and institutions that is sorted in warehouses and then displayed by type, gender and season. In 2014, the Charity Clothes Bank distributed over one million pieces of clothing, shoes and toys to the various governorates of the Kingdom, supporting over 152,182 persons in need. Over 2,831 people from various sectors have volunteered their time and talent since the establishment of the Charity Clothes Bank, helping to receive, sort and distribute the clothes.

Once a family has registered with the Charity Clothing Bank, it receives a coupon for four pieces of clothing and a pair of shoes for each member. The entire family also receives an item from the miscellaneous section and an item from the toys section.
